Design: You first proceed with the design or designs, using the respective Design Entry forms. You can assign unique denominations to each design and create multiple designs in a single session. (P & S)
Documentation: With a very low nominal fee you can order professionally made mechanical drawings. Alternatively, you can use the Summary Table and the Shape View to produce a somewhat less detailed documentation free of charge. You can also order the drawings alone without ordering the parts, if so desired. (P & S)
Design Verification: Once you are ready to proceed ("checkout") you are presented with the designs that you made to verify your intention to order and any details of the order (i.e.: shipping method, insurance, payment method, etc.). Now you enter the payment data (credit card number, etc.) and the next step will happen in the Authorize.net secure server. (P & S)
Quoting and Payment: You need to enter any additional details to fulfill the order (shipping method, insurance, payment method, etc.). A pro-forma invoice is generated. It is a good idea to print this provisional document. Now you enter the payment data (credit card number, etc.) and the next step will happen in the secure server. (P & S)
Order Placement: The authorization from Authorize.ner means that the services are already paid. Your computer sends now to our server and encoded version of the design. (P & S)
Order Fulfillment: When your computer sends us the encoded design data, this starts the building of parts and/or drawings. The design is quickly reviewed by one of our engineers and a confirmation is sent to you. (P & S)
Shipment: As soon as we finish your parts (which could happen sooner than the stated one-week time), the parts are shipped by the specified means (i.e.: USPS, UPS-ground, FedEx, etc.) and we notify you via e-mail about the shipment and any details of it (date, weight, tracking number, etc.). This completes our portion.(P & S)
